Other apps you may come across
UpHabit, once a popular personal CRM, was reported to have stopped development in April 2026. folk is mainly a web CRM for teams. Monica is an open-source personal CRM you can host yourself. We did not include them in the table because we could not verify their current iPhone apps.
How to choose
- Decide where your data may live. On your device and in your own iCloud (Starrise Contacts, Cardhop, Apple Contacts), or in a vendor’s cloud (Dex, Mesh).
- Pick the one habit you want help with. Remembering birthdays, writing things down after a conversation, or reaching out regularly. Every app here does one of these best.
- Try before you pay. All of them can be tried for free, through a free plan or a trial.
